Tamannaah Bhatia opens up about going through emotional trauma over her father's illness

Tamannaah Bhatia opened up about one of the toughest trials in her life when she had to endure emotional trauma over her dad's illness. In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, she shared how this traumatic event affected her and the valuable lessons she learned. The 'Lust Stories 2' actress said, 'Me and my dad were actually on a plane, and he had an umbilical hernia that got strangulated. He had to be rushed to hospital and get the operation done. That night was very scary for me because I had never seen the strongest person in my life looking vulnerable and feeling.' The actress further admitted that she did not process the emotional toll that emerged after her father's sudden and severe illness and ended up getting sick with anxiety during work. 'I think I made the mistake of not processing it and just going back to work. I even fell sick on the sets', said Tamannaah. She added, 'The only thing that I learned from that experience is that fear and anxiety, if not expressed, the repression of that can lead to it physically manifesting itself.
