According to latest reports, the Delhi High Court has directed WhatsApp and Telegram to deactivate social media groups and channels selling pirated copies of the Atlee-directorial. The High Court also ordered WhatsApp, Telegram and mobile network operators to disclose subscriber information for the phone numbers operating these accounts, including usernames and addresses to enable legal action against them. The matter is listed on October 9. Reports further stated that the order was passed in a fresh plea in a pending lawsuit initiated by Red Chilies Entertainment against an internet user.
