2:11Now PlayingApart from ‘Tiger 3’, Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Sam Bahadur’ will also be promoted at the big India vs Pakistan game in the ongoing ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup. The film’s teaser is said to be launched on October 13 in Mumbai amid the presence of the entire cast and crew of the film. According to reports, the film’s producer Ronnie Screwvala has also managed to strike a deal with a broadcasting network to show the trailer during the India-Pakistan game which will naturally have many eyeballs glued to the television. ‘Sam Bahadur’ marks Vicky Kaushal’s reunion with director Meghna Gulzar after the much successful ‘Raazi’. The film is based on the life of Sam Manekshaw who was the Chief of the Indian Army during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, and the first Indian Army officer to be promoted to the rank of field marshal. Apart from Vicky, it also stars Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh. The film will be hitting the big screens on December 1 and is all set to clash with Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’.
