The 'Queen' actress shared that her battles were never personal and didn't hold personal grudges against any of them. In an interview with Times Now Navbharat, Kangana said, 'I have never said anything unreasonable about the Khans. My main issue was the shorter female roles in their films and the age of the actresses who were cast opposite them.' The actress further mentioned that things are changing now, and the issues she had with them are resolving slowly. 'Actresses over 35-40 are becoming the heroines of Khans. I have fought for these changes. Otherwise, we used to see the heroines of Khans play their mothers 8-10 years down the line. So, we have fought for these changes', said Kangana. Regarding her perceived shift towards a more diplomatic stance, Kangana attributed it to the numerous defamation cases filed against her. The actress expressed that while she wasn't afraid to voice her opinions, the legal battles had become time-consuming, which she feels is a 'waste of time.'
