Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan decks up in a red saree for a pre-wedding rituals

Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan is all set to tie the knot with her long time boyfriend and fitness trainer Nupur Shikhare on January 3. Recently, the star daughter took to her Instagram Stories to share a set of pictures from a pre-wedding ritual with her and Nupur’s family members. Ira was seen decked up as a Marathi bride in red saree, gajra, some floral jewelry and also a Maharashtrian nath for the festivities. Her mother and Aamir’s ex-wife Reena Dutta also made an appearance in the photos. Ira was surrounded by women who were trying to get her ready for the occasion. In one of the pics, she also wrote ‘Because it takes a village!’ suggesting how she got decked up with the help of all the women in her family. Her fiancé Nupur was also seen in a picture wherein Ira planted an adorable kiss on his cheeks. Meanwhile in a recent interview, Aamir got candid about Nupur and said ‘He is a lovely boy. When Ira was battling depression, he was with her. He is really someone who has stood by her and emotionally supported her. I am happy that she has selected a boy who… they are so happy together. They are very well connected; they really look after each other and care for each other.’ The ‘Dangal’ actor also talked about his daughter’s upcoming wedding and said ‘Main toh bada emotional hota hoon bhai, uss din main bahut rone waala hoon yeh toh tay hai. Discussions have already begun in the family that “Aamir ko sambaalna uss din” because I am very emotional. I can’t control my smile, nor my tears.’
