3:08Now PlayingSara Ali Khan recently took to Instagram Stories to give a fitness update from her life. The actress shared this collage image of herself with this picture from a workout session on top which showed her holding her belly fat. As a side note to the pic, Sara wrote ‘Honestly felt very uncomfortable to upload this top image - but I’m really proud that I got it together in two weeks. Weight issues have always been a struggle for me’. She further thanked her diet expert and wrote, ‘Bye bye Holiday calories but most importantly peace out with the guilt. Fitness is a journey so just keep going’. It is a known fact that Sara underwent an extensive physical transformation before making her Bollywood debut. The actress had previously shared that she faced a lot of struggle to lose weight because of PCOD and that she weighed 96 kgs during her university days. However, the drive to become an actress made her work on her body and shed those extra kilos within a year and a half. Talking about PCOD in an old interview, Sara had reportedly said ‘PCOD causes mood swings, particularly when you are trying to lose weight. You could be sitting in a room with your family and your best friend feeling satiated after a good lunch and still feel low. It also affects your hair and skin which can be traumatic for an actress because you can’t be telling people you are looking bloated in the scene or your skin has broken out because of PCOD. Part of the cure is to own it, to live with it and work around it.’
