When Abhishek Bachchan opened up about public scrutiny over his and Aishwarya Rai's family planning

The epitome of couple-goals is star couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Recently, we stumbled upon an old interview of the 'Dhoom' actor where he reacted to people’s obsession with them having babies. In an interview with GQ India, the actor said, 'I’ll be happy with two kids. I mean I have a sister, so maybe that’s where it comes from. I feel they are blessings of God, and it should just happen as and when.' Further, he added, 'I am against the whole thing of ‘Let’s plan it’, you know, ‘We’re trying for a baby. I find that a bit weird. I don’t want to have that vision in my head of somebody else. It’s really none of your business. I find it very intrusive.' The junior Bachchan, while sharing that the public's scrutiny over their family planning irked him, mentioned, 'I really don’t want to know when other people are having babies; why would you want to know when I’m having babies?' During the same interview, Abhishek also recalled how he proposed to Aishwarya for marriage and said, 'I was filming in New York for a movie, and I used to stand on the balcony of my hotel room and thought that wouldn’t be nice if I was together with her married?' Later, he took the 'Taal' actress to that same balcony and asked her to be his life partner, to which she agreed. Aishwarya and Abhishek got married in 2007 and became proud parents to a daughter, Aaradhya, in 2011. Meanwhile, on the work front, while Aishwarya was last seen in Mani Ratnam's magnum opus 'Ponniyin Selvan: II', Abhishek garnered immense praise for his performance in the sports drama film 'Ghoomer.'
