Bollywood actors including Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal and others have shared heartfelt wishes and messages for the men in blue. Alia took to her social media handle and shared a picture of Team India and penned a note that read, 'Our hearts are forever WON! Well played team India. We hold our heads up high.' Kareena also shared a photograph of the team with a note, 'Only LOVE and RESPECT Team INDIA tuff battle but well played.' Ranveer Singh also shared a heartwarming message on his Instagram stories and it read, 'Some highs and lows, some good days and bad days, some wins and some losses, That's sports, That's life. We are all gutted but let's applaud our boys for giving it their all.' Megastar Amitabh BAchchan also reacted to Team India's defeat and shared a post on his X handle for them saying, 'Team India .. Last night’s result is not, in anyway, a reflection of your talent , capability and standing .. proud of you .. better things will happen .. keep at it.' 'Chak De India' actor Shah Rukh Khan, who was seen cheering for Team India at the stadium with his wife Gauri, and their kids, Aryan and Suhana also shared a post on his social media handle. SRK wrote, 'The way the Indian team has played this whole tournament is a matter of honour and they showed great spirit and tenacity. It’s a sport and there are always a bad day or two. Unfortunately it happened today, but thank u Team India for making us so proud of our sporting legacy in cricket and bringing too much cheer to the whole of India. Love and respect.
