Speaking about the movie, 'L2E - Empuraan' officially began filming on October 5, with expansive plans for a multilingual release. Serving as a sequel to the highly successful 'Lucifer', the flick is poised to be a commercial entertainer and a groundbreaking moment for the Malayalam film industry as its first big-budget venture. Coming back to Mahira, the actress, widely recognized for her stellar performances in Pakistani dramas and films, has often expressed her admiration towards the Malayalam industry for its unique ideas, directorial prowess, and exceptional lighting techniques. Recently, she was in the news for her second marriage. The actress announced her wedding on social media by dropping a picture in which the newlywed couple stood under the bride's veil and captioned it 'Bismillah.'
