3:07Now Playing'CID' famed Dinesh Phadnis has passed away due to ill health. He breathed last on November 4 around midnight. He was 57 years of age. The actor was in Tunga Hospital in Mumbai, where he was battling for his life. His last rites will take place today, and the entire star cast of the longest-running show, 'CID' is currently at his residence. When ETimes TV contacted Dinesh's co-star and close friend Dayanand Shetty, he confirmed the news and said, 'Yes, it's true he is no more.' He further shared, 'It happened around 12:08 am. I am at his residence right now. His last rites will be conducted today at the Daulat Nagar crematorium. Almost everyone from the CID is present right now.' Earlier, Dayanand only issued a clarification about Dinesh's health. In an interview with Pinkvilla, he revealed that Dinesh was suffering from liver damage, not heart attack, and also added that the actor was in critical condition. Meanwhile, this shocking and tragic news has left the entire TV industry and Dinesh's fans heartbroken. Actress Shraddha Musle dropped a picture of her with the departed soul and wrote, 'We will miss you Freddy sir', Narendra Gupta penned, 'You will always be remembered, friend.
