Although Kundra was arrested for producing explicit content, he later got bail. However, the legal process is ongoing, and he hasn't been cleared yet. Recently, Kundra's lawyer, Prashant Patil, made a surprising statement about the prolonged legal proceedings. Patil revealed that they've been consistently asking for a faster legal process, but prosecution is intentionally delaying it. According to him, this infringes on Kundra's fundamental rights. Patil believes there's no clear case against Kundra, and that's why the prosecution keeps asking for more time. The lawyer argued that such intentional delays add to the backlog of pending cases in the country, causing suffering for innocent people waiting for a fair trial. He criticized agencies for making allegations in the media but providing lame excuses and adjournments in court. Patil expressed that Kundra is enduring the consequences of what he calls a high-handed prosecution, with the wait for justice seeming endless. Patil also mentioned that Kundra is advised to file a criminal Writ Petition before the Bombay High Court for a quicker trial. In an interesting turn, Kundra's film 'UT 69,' directed by Shahnawaz Ali, was released on November 3. It focuses on Kundra's time in prison and his challenges behind bars.
