Recently, comedian Johnny Lever and close friend Salam Kazi visited the actor at his residence in Mumbai. Now, the ailing actor has expressed his desire to meet his friend and veteran actor Jeetendra, with whom he has acted in several films, including 'Caravan.' During a conversation with ETimes, Kazi, who has been working with Jr Mehmood for 15 years, shared, 'Jr Mehmood bhai told me Jeetuji nahin aaye, mujhe milna hain unse.' He also mentioned that 'Mehmood Bhai is also keen to meet his childhood friend and co-star Sachin Pilgaonkar'. The 'Nadiya Ke Paar' actor made a video call to Mehmood, but the latter is still waiting for him to come and meet him. Notably, Junior Mehmood and Sachin Pilgaonkar made a hit Jodi as child artists and also worked together in their adulthood in films like 'Bachpan', 'Geet Gaata Chal' and 'Brahmachari.' Earlier, a video of Johnny Lever interacting with the ailing actor also went viral on social media. 67-year-old Junior Mehmood has acted in over 200 films in more than 7 different languages. He is best known for movies like 'Brahmachari', 'Mera Naam Joker', 'Parvarish', and 'Do Aur Do Paanch.' He has also produced and directed many Marathi movies.
