This is the 8th launch of Blue Origin's suborbital space tourism booster and capsule called the New Shepard. This is first launch for Blue Origin in 2018 and they'll be launching and landing at their Van Horn site in West Texas. This is the second flight of this particular booster, NS-3, which is the third one they've manufactured.
The whole mission is pretty short. Around only 10 minutes, but the booster and capsule will kiss the edge of space, 100 kms or 62 miles, where they'll separate and then land independently. The capsule which will someday carry tourists to the edge of space on quick suborbital hops land by parachutes (and mild touch down retro thrusters) while the booster lands itself propulsively.
