When egg prices spiked earlier this year, we couldn't farm our way out of it- even though we have one of the highest square miles of high-quality farmland of any country in the world. We had to import eggs.
And it didn't start with tariffs. The US has been growing less and less food for the last 15+ years. So: What's going on?
