Pro-Trump Lawyer Sidney Powell Hit With Massive $1.3 BILLION Defamation Lawsuit

Dominion Voting Systems has followed through on their threat, and they have now filed a $1.3 BILLION dollar defamation lawsuit against pro-Trump lawyer Sidney Powell. At the end of the week, it was announced that dominion voting systems that a voting machine company that had, you know, been in the news a lot because Republicans had been attacking it relentlessly, but it was announced this, uh, late last week that they have officially filed a lawsuit against pro Trump, lawyer, Sidney Powell. Now Sidney Powell, we all know her. We all remember her from that infamous press conference with Rudy Giuliani, the one where his hair was melting down his face. Um, she's made some pretty outlandish claims. Uh, a lot of them actually about dominion voting systems. One of the claims that she made was that they created an algorithm that would switch votes after they had been cast from Trump to Biden in the state of Georgia. She also alleged without any evidence that dominion then paid off the Republican government of Georgia in order to get them to look the other way about their super secret algorithm that was switching votes, uh that's defamation.

Absolutely. You have no evidence to prove in any of these things that you have claimed. And she knew it and we knew it and everybody knew it and dominion knew it. So they have hit her with a 1.3 billion with a B lawsuit for defamation. Here's the funny part about all this Sidney Powell has actually had a week or two to correct her claims dominion gave her every possible opportunity because in order to file a defamation or slander or libel lawsuit, you have to do that. You have to give the offending party the opportunity to retract the claims, to delete the claims, to get rid of them, to make things right. You have to give them those opportunities if they fail. And if they refuse to do these things, that's when you file the suit. Now, as we have discussed, you have had Newsmax, you have had Fox news, you have had other people go out there and have to, you know, kind of tuck their tail between their legs and say, Aw, gee, you know, dominion, didn't do these things.

And now, uh, Sydney Pal's being sued for $1.3 billion, a sum of money that I'm fairly certain Sidney Powell does not have on hand. So it is what it is folks. And I think conservative media needs to learn a little bit of a lesson here. You can't just go out there and say all these things, Willy nilly, because eventually you're going to say something about a group like dominion that actually has the authority and the standing to file a defamation lawsuit against you. That's where the line is drawn. The media, according to the Supreme court can legally lie to us. But when you start lying about an organization or an individual to the point where they might have a financial harm from it,
