According to the latest numbers from the Washington post Donald Trump's election lies that he has been telling since November 3rd, they have now cost American taxpayers, $519 million, a little over half a billion dollars because our idiot former president wanted to Sue his ego and we each and every one of us had to pay for it at a time when we're all struggling in the middle of a pandemic and recession, we're being told by Congress, the Senate Republicans, some Democrats that, Oh, it's too expensive to help you out. It's too expensive to get you another stimulus check and we're having to pay half a billion dollars because the president cannot stop lying about the results of the election. So what is the money for, we don't obviously have to put money in a lie jar every time the man says something that's not true. So what is this?

Well, the property damage caused by his idiotic followers. You know, a part of the insurrection we have to pay for that, that that's our money that pays for that. We have to pay the property damage. We have to pay for the riots. We have to pay for everything his craze supporters do after he gets them riled up with the lies of election fraud. We have to pay for enhanced security for certain members of, um, that I really have no problem with. I, you know, if we have to pay that, we have to pay that. Sure. Uh, cause we need to protect them, but they shouldn't need the protecting. And if Donald Trump wasn't out there attacking them, we wouldn't have to pay that legal fees. Uh, we do have to pay those, right? So there's all kinds of different costs associated with this. But every single one of them has the same root cause.

And that root cause is Donald Trump refuses to accept reality. He refuses his ego will not let him accept the fact that people rejected him. That's what all of this is about. And now it has cost us half a billion dollars because he can't live in the same reality as the rest of us because he can't look introspectively and say, maybe I'm not the greatest. Maybe I was pretty bad. Maybe I did screw this up. His inability to do that has now cost us half a billion dollars in the middle of a recession and a pandemic at a time when we're being told, we can't afford to help you. This story is infuriating. And if this doesn't you off, then I don't know what will, because we're still paying the price for these election lies. And based on the actions, the words and everything from his supporters, pretty sure we're going to be paying for it one way or another for years to come.
