Republican Senator Is Furious That Biden Is Treating Immigrants Like Human Beings

Republican Senator John Cornyn is furious at the Biden administration for doing the unthinkable. And that unthinkable is treating immigrants, humanely, you know, treating them like human beings, not just like some kind of pest that is trying to get into your home, which is, I guess what John Cornyn would like us to think of them as John Cornyn took to Twitter on Monday and he tweeted the following, he said, president Biden has instead emphasized the humane treatment of immigrants regardless of their life legal status that sob people like human beings. Um, and the reason he started it that way has instead is because prior to that, he tweeted out a couple things about past democratic presidents. First one was bill Clinton ran for reelection on a platform that said we can not tolerate illegal immigration immigration, and we must stop it. A subsequent tweet said Barack Obama once said, we simply can not allow people to pour into the United States, undetected, undocumented and unchecked.

And then of course came the Biden tweet after that. Now all of this is obviously related to what the media is calling the crisis at the Southern border. And to an extent, yeah, it's a crisis. And, and part of the reason we have a crisis is because Joe Biden is not in fact, treating these people humanely. We have 5,000 unaccompanied minors locked away in detention facilities. Oh, I'm sorry. Overflow facilities. So yes, we have a lot of human beings down there and they're being treated better allegedly than they were Trump or, uh, or Obama. And I get it. That's off John corner. What do you want us to do, John?

Do you want us to put them in smaller cages? Do you want to make the concrete floors that they had to sleep on? Even colder? Do you want to take away those little foil blankets that they were given? You want to make sure that they have even less toothbrushes and toothpaste the goal round. You want to make sure that they don't even have a little bit of soap for their showers. What, what exactly would you like us to do to these children who committed a mist meaner by coming here illegally democratic representative Alon. Omar said it best in all of this. Talk about this alleged crisis along our Southern border. Nobody has talked about the fact that we have to address the real problem with our immigration issues. And that is the hell light conditions that we as a country are inflicting upon central and South the American countries.

Yeah. We're responsible for a lot of it, not just with our foreign policy, but guess what? Also with our lack of leadership on the issue of climate change, because yes, plenty of these areas in central America where people are fleeing, they're fleeing due to resource scarcity and studies have shown that a lot of this is taking place due to the effects of climate change. Now we're not the only country in the world that pollutes absolutely not, but we're sure as hell not being a leader on the issue either. We're not trying to get other countries to actively reduce their missions. No last four years we've gone the other way with it. So yes, we're responsible for a lot of this, not all, but a good amount. And until we, you start addressing that as well, addressing what our economic policies and our sanctions are doing to these countries in central and South America, the effects that our so-called war on drugs have had. Yeah. Until we address those, we should continue to treat people humanely. And that does not mean sticking them in these overlaps flew facilities. These are human beings. Now I know that off John Cornyn, cause they don't look like him. Their skin's a little bit darker colored. They speak a different language and that's scary to him, but they're human beings and they deserve dignity and respect something that John Cornyn clearly based on his words and actions doesn't deserve.
