YouTube Description
as posted by the channelMatt Gaetz, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Louie Gohmert tried to have a redo on their earlier efforts this week to claim that the January 6th rioters are being treated unfairly, but their little stunt at a D.C. Department of Corrections didn't go as planned. They were turned away and not allowed to meet with the insurrectionists, but one has to wonder why they thought this would be a smart idea to begin with. Farron Cousins discusses this.

On Thursday, Republican representative, Matt gates, Marjorie Taylor green, and Louie Gohmert decided you need to head on over to a DC department of corrections, a DC jail, uh, to find out exactly what is happening to the inmates. Who've been incarcerated for their involvement in the January 6th county, little riot. They showed up with a camera crew, no, on the door saying, let us in. We just want to ask some questions. And of course the jail turned them away and said, no, no, you can't just show up here unannounced with an unauthorized, the camera crew, and expect to get in and talk to the individuals who have been arrested here. That's not a thing you can do. Legally folks. That's not a thing anyone is allowed to do, especially not with a camera crew. So these three members of Congress after they're denied. And of course they posted videos of them, you know, being shut out of the prison, um, hold a little press conference and uh, go SAR was there too.
So you got gates green Gohmert and go SAR, gaslighting, gullible goons, um, during their little press conference, there's a nice little alliteration there for you. So anyway, they hold a press conference. They say, this is a totalitarian regime. You know, this isn't how things work. We just, I have questions because we think they may be missing treating these January 6th rioters in here. Not because we have evidence that this is happening, but just because we like to make a spectacle of ourselves, because that's the only way we can stay relevant in politics. You see these morons, the 4g gates, green Gohmert and ghosts are, they don't have any actual ideas. Okay. They're they're not out there actually pushing policies. They're they're not doing anything to, to actually move the country in, in any direction. Obviously all they can do to make themselves feel important is to make themselves the spectacle, you know, do these crazy and bizarre stunts, just like Matt gates.
It's did, uh, you know, when he was denied access to the judiciary committee hearings, because he wasn't part of the judiciary committee and he had his phone out filming things, which is not allowed there. And then he would hold his little press conference saying, there's this ridiculous happening? That was during the first impeachment, by the way, this is what he does. And now he's got a whole gaggle of idiots that are willing to go along with it. Again, there is no evidence. There's not even a suggestion. Yeah. These individuals that have been arrested, uh, in association with the Capitol riots, uh, that they're being mistreated in any way. They have been giving, uh, given me preliminary hearings, most of them have been via zoom. They've had attorneys present the ones who have chosen that some have chosen to go out on their own. They've been given their hearings.
They've been given their due process. Those who have not been deemed to be immediate threats, been released on bail and they're awaiting trial. Those that were deemed to be significant threats are in jail, awaiting trial. That's kind of what happens in the United States. Now we could argue about criminal justice reform all day long and the need to fix problems. Like the sure. That is an issue that needs to be discussed. It's an issue that needs to be addressed and fixed, but I don't have sympathy for these individuals. They knew what they were doing. We have seen the footage. You know, we heard the testimony from the police officers this week. I don't have sympathy for these people, but gates green go SAR and Gomer. They need a distraction because they know how devastating the testimony earlier this week was. And they know how devastating these hearings are going to be moving forward. So they have to do something to distract the public. On top of that, those people in jail, that's their base. Those people could lose the right to vote. And oh my God, what happens then for gates green Gohmert and ghosts are right.
Not gonna, I'm not going to have as many people voting for you if they're all sitting behind bars, right? But again, you can't just show up at a jail on announced with a camera crew and say, I'm going to go in and start talking to these inmates.
