As usual, the facts don't support any of this, and the U.S. crossed the 400,000 death mark right before Trump left offices with cases spiking once again. During an interview with Fox business host Maria Bartiromo earlier this week, Donald Trump attempted to pin the surge in new COVID cases, especially with the Delta variant in the United States on president Joe Biden. Trump went as far as to say that when he left office, he says, quote, when I left, it was virtually gone. It was over. Those were his exact words. When I left, it was virtually gone. It was over. Now it's important to point out the fact that this is an obvious lie. You know, COVID statistics are very easy to find online shortly before Donald Trump left office on January 20th, a couple of days, day or two, actually, before that the United States hit 400,000 deaths from COVID-19 400,000 dead Americans

Cases. At the time when he left office were spiked [inaudible] as well, not hit Trump's goal of a million vaccinated by the first week of January, we didn't hit that until late January. And of course, we also have to remember the early days of the pandemic hell, mostly through the pandemic where he downplayed everything acted like it. Wasn't a big deal, refuse to be seen in public, wearing a mask, helping spread the anti mask hysteria here in the United States.

Even though the statistics, as I pointed out are readily available for anyone who chooses to seek the truth, but that's not where Trump ended either. He talks about vaccine hesitancy. Here's what he said about that. They don't take it because they don't trust Biden and they don't trust the Biden administration. When I was president, you didn't have people protesting the vaccine. If you just think back, everybody wanted to get it. And we were giving out over a million shots a day. We had thing rocking. We had that thing rocking. Um, no, as I pointed out, you weren't giving out a million shots a day, which I think I misspoke earlier. Actually, when I said this, we didn't hit a million shots a day until the end of January when Joe Biden was, was president.

So that's another lie. And yes, by the way, there

Was also a vaccine hesitancy, then not quite as much. Sure. But the vaccine hesitancy can not be blamed on Joe Biden. Again, you got the vaccine and secret and didn't tell anybody
