Dan Crenshaw Goes To War Against Marjorie Taylor Greene

There is growing unrest inside of the Republican Party, and some members are starting to get annoyed with each other for their stupid behavior. The latest Republican to announce his exasperation at his own Party is Dan Crenshaw who called Marjorie Taylor Greene's calls to punish the Republicans who voted for the infrastructure bill "stupid." He isn't wrong, but it sure is fun to watch them fight. Farron Cousins discusses this.

Folks there's trouble brewing in the Republican party where you have some of the wackiest members actually fighting with the other half of the wackiest members. The latest little dust up happened this week between Dan Crenshaw and Marjorie Taylor green, Marjorie Taylor green, as we all know, has been pushing for the Republican party to punish those dastardly Republicans who had the audacity to vote for the infrastructure bill. She wants them punished. She wants them stripped of their committee assignments, not unlike Paul Gosar got stripped of his committee assignments this week and green herself also stripped of her committee assignments. And she wants the same fate to befall those Republicans. And Dan Crenshaw just finally had enough talking to the press this week. Crenshaw said this was a stupid idea. He also of course admitted that he never saw the ghosts are video and that, you know, that's stupid too.

But also this other thing over here that Marjorie Taylor green is trying to do that stupid. I never thought I'd say this, but on that part of it, I agree with Dan Crenshaw. I know checking to make sure nothing horrible happens after I say that, then maybe this is the apocalypse, but no, Dan Crenshaw is right. Marjorie Taylor green is absolutely being stupid here. And what's even funnier is that also Matt gates this week called out Marjorie Taylor green for wanting to impeach Joe Biden. And he said that was a bad idea. It was stupid. So we are starting to see these divisions amongst the craziest of the crazies, because here's the thing. What I'm seeing unfold here is the fake crazies versus the real crazies. I've said this plenty of times before. And I think it bears repeating. There are plenty of Republicans in office today that I believe are genuinely just nuts.

Marjorie Taylor, green, Lauren, Bovert, Louie Gohmert Jim Jordan. They totally believe all the crazy things they say and do. Then you have the people who just pretend that I think Dan Crenshaw is one of them. I think Matt gates is one of them. I think those guys are actually smart enough to have figured out how to play the game. It's a horrible game. They're playing. They're horrible. People don't get me wrong. I do not like either of them, but I don't think they're genuinely crazy. I think the opposite. I think they're very smart and that's what makes them more dangerous than the actual crazies, because they can turn it on and off. They can convince this crowd that they're just as nuts as them and you should support them. And at the same time they can go and talk to the voters in a rational, intelligent way and attract those not crazy people. That's a far more dangerous politician than a Marjorie Taylor green Taylor green cannot go out there and talk to normal people and get them to be on her side gates and Crenshaw. They can.

That's what makes them so scary. Matt gates? I do not believe that he wants a future in politics. I think he wants to be famous. He wants a TV show and of course he may of course end up with neither of those sitting in a jail cell. But I think Crenshaw has a very large future within today's Republican party. And I think he knows that too. And that's why he's calling out people like Marjorie Taylor green. He's calling out the other Republicans who voted to central Crenshaw and he's calling for all of them to stop the fighting and come together. He is attempting to be a leader at a time when the Republican party doesn't have one. So he is definitely somebody to watch in the future because he knows how to play the game. And unfortunately, he's playing it very well right now.
