DeSantis In Hot Water After Top Aide Uses Anti Semitic Trope

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis's top spokesperson, Christina Pushaw, got the governor in hot water this week by suggesting there was some weird conspiracy between the Rothschilds and the state of Georgia's new vaccine passport system. Pushaw is buying into an age-old Republican attack that uses the Rothschild family as some sort of boogeyman to scare people, but really they are engaging in anti-Semitism. Ron DeSantis found himself in hot water this week after his top spokesperson, Christina Pusha decided to post a bit of a conspiracy theory on Twitter. That happens to be part of an antisemitic trope that the right wingers have been pushing for years and years and years. Here's what she said. Georgia decided to enact a green pass system, biomedical security state immediately after that, the Rothschilds show up to address the attractive investment environment in Georgia. LOL no weird conspiracy stuff here. She said with an exclamation point at the end of it now is what this is the Rothschild, right? Company's been operating in the United States for I think 200 years with the Rothschild family. They're a Jewish family. And every time Republican, see some kind of conspiracy, it's always the Rothschild, this Jewish family at the heart of it, you know, Marjorie Taylor green with her Jewish space lasers that were starting California file.

That was, that was fires. That was the Rothschild. She said, because whenever conservatives need some kind of wealthy boogeyman, they always go to the Jewish people because it ties into other right-wing conspiracies. And just other general conspiracies here in the United States, you know that the, the Jewish people control the media, oh, the Jewish people control the weather. The Jewish people control our political apparatus. The Jewish people control Hollywood. Those are all conspiracy theories here in the United States today. And we had Rhonda Sanchez, his top spokesperson, the one who loves to get into feuds on Twitter, suggesting something like that happened in Georgia because they put this system in place to make it easier for people to, you know, have their vaccines handy. The green pass system. It's actually a pretty good system. It's smart that way. You don't have to carry around that big giant card.

That's too large to fit in any wallets for some reason. And somehow some way Jewish people are at the heart of this. This is ridiculous. If Ron DeSantis had any scruples whatsoever, he would get rid of Christina poo Shaw immediately, but he's not going to do that. She's a valuable asset for him. You know why? Because as I mentioned, she's the one who goes on social media and picks fights with the people who don't like to scientists. She has been out there attacking reporters. She has been attacking a leftist YouTubers and podcasters, absolutely acting as Ron DeSantis as attack dog. But we found out this week that she also buys into these anti-Semitic Republican conspiracies.

Now I wonder how that's going to play out for DeSantis in a state like Florida that has rather large Jewish populations, especially down there in south Florida. You know, those areas that they would love to turn a red instead of being blue, probably not going to do that when you're off 15 or 16% of the population of those counties, because in some of them like Palm beach, for example, you have a 15% Jewish population overall throughout the entire state. It's 3%, but Ron DeSantis can't afford to lose 3% of the vote. Hell he'll lose re-election if he loses 3%, that's how close things can be here in the state of Florida. So he wants to show that he's not the kind of person that would employ somebody who promotes antisemitic, conspiracy theories. He may want to seriously consider firing Christina poo Shaw cause his political future may just depend on it.
