Boebert attempted to make a joke about allergies by comparing them to deadly infectious diseases, and was widely mocked and ridiculed all across social media. Republican representative Lauren, Boebert tried her hand at comedy, this and didn't quite go exactly the way Bobert thought that it would. You see, Boebert attempted to make a joke about allergies and somehow that, you know, being a communicable disease, while also making light of the fact that nearly 1 million of Americans have died in the pandemic over the last two years, here's what Boebert sent out on Twitter. On Wednesday evening, as allergy season gets underway, I encourage everyone to take their allergy medicines so that my allergy medicines can work. You know, it doesn't work unless everyone takes it knee slapper. Right? Folks, you're so funny. You could write for Gallagher. So here's what she's saying. It's silly to think that everybody needs to get vaccinated for COVID 19 in order to move past the pandemic. And she's comparing that again, highly infectious communicable disease to seasonal allergies, which I'm not sure if everybody's aware of this, but let me just go ahead and say it in case you're not allergies, aren't contagious, right?

Just because the person next to you on the bus is sneezing because the pollen is so thick that day doesn't mean you are going to catch their allergies. That's a overactive immune system attacking these things and causing allergies. But you, you can't catch that from another person, but you can, on the other hand catch COVID from another person. But again, she tried to make a joke didn't work. And of course she was widely ridiculed, mocked all over social media for her lame attempted comedy. And no, I don't think that she was being sincere. I, I, I do think I'm gonna give her enough credit to think that she knows the difference. She is how incredibly stupid for saying something like this, but not because she doesn't understand how allergies work because she's making light of the fact that nearly 1 million Americans have died from COVID.

That's what gets me. That's what me off about this. And it should you off too. COVID is not fake the vaccines do in fact work, right? We're still finding out about the efficacy and the long term efficacy of these vaccines. They may not work as long as we would like them to, which is why. Of course we needed boosters, but they are helping people and preventing people from dying to a very large degree. They don't prevent it a hundred percent, but they make it much less likely that you're going to be hospitalized and or dead from the virus. But again, if only half the country got vaccinated, the other half would still be vulnerable. COVID would still spread and mutate, which is basically what we have right now, even though we are at more than 50% as a country vaccinated, but she's joking about it, right?

Ha ha. Pandemics are funny, right? No need to wait 20 years into the future to make your COVID jokes. Go ahead and get 'em outta the way right now, because it's a real comedy spectacle. That's what she thinks. It's fun. I was actually speaking to folks at, uh, my office yesterday. Who've lost multiple loved ones to COVID. I've almost lost several to COVID co workers have lost, loved ones to COVID. I think at this point, most people know someone who has died of COVID or, you know, secondhand knows someone who has died from this. This is not a laughing matter, right? This is still a major public health issue, even though everybody wants to pretend, oh, we're moving on past COVID we still averaging more than 1000 deaths per day here in the United States. Right now this month, this month more than a thousand deaths per day. That's no joking matter. COVID is serious. COVID is infectious allergies are not. And Lauren Bobert is as big of an idiot as she ever was.
