Yesterday with the national media focused on the state of Texas Republican governor, Greg Abbott sitting right next to Republican Lieutenant governor Dan Patrick, and a couple of folks, uh, uh, from law enforcement up on that stage as well, decided to give a press conference to the entire country, to talk about the tragic shooting that unfolded in Texas on Tuesday and things didn't go very well for those Republicans, because there was one man in that crowd who stood up and called them out to their faces for doing nothing about the nonstop string of STR, uh, tragedies. And that person just happens to be democratic gubernatorial candidate Beto O'Rourke. So take a look at Beto interrupting these Jack asses up on stage and calling them out to their faces in front of the entire country. Here it is.

The average of 10 mass shootings that we have had in this country every single week, this year, 2022, that's also on you. You realize we're averaging more than one mass shooting a day here in this country. That's where we're at so far in the year, 2022. That's where we were at last year and the year before and the year before and the year before and the year before and the year before and the year before. And I can keep saying that about 20 to 30 times, because that's where this country is more than one a day and nothing ever gets done. So Beto O'Rourke was right to do that. It's probably not gonna play very well on the state of Texas, but the entire country saw it. The entire country is begging for someone, anyone to stand up and do something about the senseless violence.

Maybe Beto is that person, maybe I've misjudged him, but I would love to see somebody not just stay angry, but be angry enough to actually do something legislatively about this problem. A problem that a majority of Americans left, right and center believe we should address a majority of NRA members believe that we should have stricter gun control laws. The only people holding us back are politicians in rednecks. Like those idiots up on that Texas stage.
