Well, the Herschel Walker campaign for Senate in the state of Georgia is not going so well. Not only is he trailing his opponent to incumbent Raphael Warnock in the polls, but the daily beast has released a new report showing that members of Walker's own staff, his advisors, not, not just staffers, but his advisors believe that the man is mentally unfit to serve. That is the exact quote that these staffers used or aids advisors, sorry. Advisors used when talking to the daily beast, mentally unfit to serve. And part of the whole reason why this is happening is because of course it turns out Herschel Walker lied to his own campaign. In addition to the public in the state of Georgia, about his extra kids that he had kept hidden. And to that particular part of the story, um, the advisor said it was quote a campaign's worst nightmare. It's like a show on a train in the middle of a wreck.

That that's how they felt about Herschel Walker's hidden children. That of course recently became public. It is a big issue for the campaign, but here's the thing. If you're gonna have bombshells dropped on you as part of any political campaign, you at least have to be honest with your staffers, usually way ahead of time, to let them be able to craft a response, right? To work on crisis management before the crisis happens. When your staffers are just as blindsided by this news as the rest of the voters, then you have no chance whatsoever of getting out in front of it. They also said the advisor, uh, that spoke to the daily beast that Herschel lies like he's breathing, he's lied so much that we don't know what's true. Now those are exact quotes folks. These are people not just working on his campaign, but they, they people advising him.

And they're saying, listen, even we don't know what's true anymore. This guy lies like he's breathing. And of course, this is why they say he is quote, mentally unfit to serve. And the daily beast of course pointed out a lot of his lies that he has told, not just during the campaign, but pretty much throughout his adult life. And we've talked about a lot of him here, but let's reiterate here from the daily beast, he has claimed he was a trained FBI agent and worked for law enforcement. Neither of which is true. He has told a preposterous series of lies about his academic record, forcing his campaign to delete claims from his official bio. He has grossly overstated his business success. He has falsely taken credit for founding a veteran's support program.

I didn't know about that one. And most recently he claimed that former Donald, uh, Trump, uh, former president Donald Trump had never said the 2020 election was stolen. Uh, let's not forget about his academic claims. Not only does he claim that he graduated from the university of Georgia, which was easily verifiably false. He also claimed that when he graduated, he was valedictorian. He said that in interview, many years before he even thought about running for office, that he was valedictorian as if nobody could look that up, right? A simple phone call to the university of Georgia, kind of cleared all that up, that the man was lying. You know, Donald Trump, according to the Washington post told more than I think 25,000 lies in his four years in office. And I think Herschel Walker could beat that record. I truly do. May. Maybe that's why Trump endorsed him.

Maybe he thought, Hey, you are an NFL star. You, you break records. How about you break my lying record? Because this is absurd. And again, the funniest part of all of this is that Herschel Walker doesn't lie about things that, you know, nobody could prove or disprove. He lies about things that people could easily again with like one or two phone calls can prove or false. And that's why his campaign is getting so off at him because he's lying to them too. Don't be surprised if throughout this campaign, we continue to see more and more of his staffers speak out and I'm willing to bet. We're probably gonna see a lot of these people quit because they don't wanna be associated with this already failing campaign.
