YouTube Description
as posted by the channelThe leader of the right wing trucker convoy group was arrested this week on an outstanding warrant after he and his pals showed up in DC to protest COVID mandates. Not only was he arrested and had his big rig impounded, but he set himself up because there are no mandates to actually protest. Nobody ever said we were dealing with smart people here, as Farron Cousins explains.

This week, the leader of the right wing trucker convoy was arrested while protesting mandates that don't actually exist in Washington DC. So here's what happened. You had this guy he's known as the Santa Claus, but he's kind of the leader of this right wing trucker convoy. That apparently is still a thing kind of thought that went the way of the Dodo bird and just kind of went extinct without anybody truly caring about it. But they're back. They came back to the beltway this past weekend, through the July 4th holiday, blocking up traffic everywhere and due to the blocking of the traffic, an arrest warrant was issued for this leader. So then they go into DC and they go over to the national mall. And that is of course where the police see him. Remember that they've got a warrant out for his arrest and they arrest the man.
They also impounded his big rig. So he's not gonna be able to block any more roads, at least for the immediate future, until he can get that out of impound. That's gonna be a little difficult, especially since that was the item used in the, the crime itself. So he may not get it back. You know, that's an issue for the courts to decide, honestly, this guy keeps abusing this piece of equipment, so it would not surprise me at all to see if the, you know, courts say, you know what? This is now property of the Washington DC police officers. Thank you very much for your contribution. We'll auction it off and probably make a lot of money off it. But again, the funniest part of the story is the fact that he went to the national mall, where he was later arrested to protest vaccine mandates vaccine mandates that don't exist. You know, COVID mandates in general, not just vaccine that don't exist.
This man was protesting fictitious things and got himself arrested for it. That's how stupid these people are, right? That is the level of incompetence that we are apparently dealing with with these individuals. They can't even bother to do a quick Google search to see where they're protesting. Do you actually have vaccine mandates? Should we go here? And protest, are there mask mandates? Are there still, uh, social distancing requirements? We don't know. We don't care. We're showing up and we're blocking the roads. Folks, nobody ever accused these people of being smart. And I, and I think there's a very good reason for that. And also let's not forget that, uh, this whole trucker convoy idea came from our neighbors to the north Canada. It's where it originated. You had your Fox news personalities, hyping these people up, you know, these great Patriots and their giant trucks. They've been defeated by traffic here in the United States around the beltway. Actually they've had
Their trucks break down. They've been defeated because they weren't allowed to park their trucks in the street to go and use the bathroom. So, you know, there's possibility. They had to relieve themselves on themselves and their trucks, all in the name of protesting things that didn't even exist by the time they were formed, we're dealing with idiots folks. And unfortunately there's far too many idiots compared to rational people in this country these days. I, I truly believe that we have far too many stupid people. For those of us who are rational thinkers, to be able to function properly anymore. It was a battle. And I think we lost it. I hate to say that I hate to be that pessimistic, but the idiots won the rest of us. The people who can use our brains can think rationally are capable of looking up whether or not what we're protesting is actually real. I'm afraid we're in the minority now.
