4:30Now PlayingDuring a recent appearance on Steve Bannon's podcast, Rudy Giuliani said that he was still very bitter about the fact that he has been banned from Fox News. Rudy first learned of the ban last year when the network refused to have him on to talk about the 20-year anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, and he's been angry about it ever since. Farron Cousins explains why Giuliani is no longer welcome on Fox.

Rudy Giuliani's feelings are hurt and they have been hurt now for almost an entire year. And those feelings that Rudy Giuliani claims to have are hurt because he has been banned from Fox news. But more specifically, he's still according to a recent interview, he did with Steve Bannon upset about the fact that last year Fox news did a 20th anniversary special about the nine 11 attacks. And they didn't have Rudy Giuliani on Rudy. Giuliani said recently, quote, how could they not have me on, on September 11th? They went through September 11th to this, if I never existed. I mean, it's amazing.
A lot of us would like to pretend that you never existed, bud. Um, here's the thing, Rudy Giuliani of course, was hailed as a hero of nine 11 by virtue of the fact that he was the mayor of the city where the, uh, biggest attacks happened, you know, in, in hindsight. Yeah, you were there, but, but what, what, what did you do, right? I mean, can anybody watching this? Give me an honest, like, how is Giuliani the hero of nine 11? Like, what was he doing that was so heroic? Was he pulling people out of the rubble? Was he even helping with the cleanup? I mean, yeah, he was there. He had his hard hat on, got a photo up with Hillary Clinton who was New York Senator at the time. But did he, did he do anything? And I think that's the thing that people need to realize.
Now, looking back on this, yes, he was put up on this pedestal and we don't quite know why or how that happened just by virtue of the fact that you're the mayor. So, okay. You, you win the day and Giuliani is that Fox news didn't talk about how great he was at the time. Of course, because Giuliani and apparently any mention of his name is absolutely outlawed in Fox news. So here's where things actually get a little bit more interesting. Okay. It turns out that Fox news had a plan in place for the Rudy Giuliani ban on their network. It's been reported that Giuliani was only supposed to be banned for three months, but now it's been well over a year since that three months expired and they're still not having him on the network. And Giuliani is still super about that, which is why he has to go whining to people like Steve Bannon. And let's be honest, Bannon has a good reach, but he doesn't have the reach of Fox news. He doesn't have the audience that Tucker Carlson has. And Giuliani wants to be able to talk to people that matter, he doesn't wanna have to talk to Steve Bannet. He doesn't wanna have to go on news. Max definitely doesn't want to go on one America because I don't think they have an audience left at this point. He wants Fox news. He wants the big fish, but Fox news won't have him on, obviously
Because when they were having him on regularly following the 2020 election, he made all these crazy claims along with several other people that ended up getting the network sued for 1.6 billion. So Rudy, I think we know the price. If you wanna get back on Fox news, you're gonna have to shell out 1.6 billion to the network so that they can pay for that lawsuit that they're facing from dominion and smart Maddox. So you do that, right? You said it all good for them. And then you could probably get back on the network. But if you don't have $1.6 billion, just lying around to, uh, pay off Fox's legal bills, uh, which I'm assuming you don't because according to your ex-wife the last check you sent her for 10 grand actually bounced for insufficient funds. Uh, then yeah, keep whining cry harder because you put Fox news in a very unfortunate position for them. And they're still mad about that. So just think Rudy, as mad as you are about not getting on the network, they're even matter, cuz you could end up costing them over a billion dollars.
