Elon Musk, the richest man on the planet decided to go to Jackson hole Wyoming. On Tuesday of this week to attend a super secret Republican meeting, I guess you would call it. It was actually a fundraiser, um, spearheaded of course, by house minority leader, Kevin McCarthy, and attended by Republican lawmakers and big money. Republican donors, Elon Musk was giving a prime speaking slot where he, of course bitched about how much he has to pay in taxes every year. Oh no. The poor richest man on the planet ever has to pay a lot of money in taxes because you are the richest man in the history of the world. So I'm not sure how you're not seeing the connection there. Like, oh God, I have more money than anybody has literally ever had. And oh, well why is my tax bill so high? You, you kind of answered your own question there. You dumb. But again, richest man in the world room full of Republican lawmakers and donors complaining about how much he pays in taxes, cuz gosh, darn it. It's just not fair. Also, please. Don't look at all the subsidies, the government subsidies that my company's Tesla and SpaceX get because you know, then it kind of makes sense as to why I have to pay more because I'm getting so much more back to keep my companies alive.
But I will say to his credit Elon Musk, who of course has been leaning more and more to the right recently did take a couple shots at the Republican party, very mild timid shots saying, oh, you could be more compassionate to immigrants like me. When you see Elon, they are compassionate to immigrants like you because you don't look like the people coming across our Southern border. So they like people like you because you look like them, right? If they didn't know you were not from America, they wouldn't know you're not from America. If you know what I mean, right? You, you look just like them. You don't stand out in a crowd because your skin is a couple shades darker than that. Of most Republicans in this country. That's why they like you also, you got a lot of money and you're attending a Republican fundraiser.
So of course they love you, but he's like, gosh, darnt it just be, just be nicer. He also told the Republicans, Hey, stay out of people's bedrooms. Not gonna argue with you on that. You're correct. Stay outta people's bedrooms. But then he said, the Democrats need to stay out of people's wallets because yeah, the richest man in the world was apparently paying too much in taxes, which we all know isn't actually happening. Here's the thing though. Musk is right. That Republicans are not compassionate to immigrants here in the United States. And we all know why. And I'm kind of shocked that
He, he doesn't understand why, but he is willing to accept that like, oh, I wish you weren't like this, but I'm actually, I don't care that you're like it because you wanna lower my tax bill. So I am willing to sell out everybody else, everybody who wants to come into this country, I'm gonna sell them out literally. So I pay less in taxes. That's what Elon Musk is telling these people, oh, I wish you'd stay out of the bedrooms, but I still like it. Cuz I pay less in taxes. When you guys are in charge, even though for the record, Elon, your taxes have not gone up. Since president Biden got an office, I think that's important to remember the 2017 tax scam package that Republicans passed. That's actually still on the books today. Like that hasn't changed all that legislation where we were gonna raise the taxes.
It didn't happen. Like your taxes Elon have not gone up wealthy people. Your taxes have not gone up since Democrats have been in power and even the modest tax proposals that they've put out there. Most rich people's taxes wouldn't have even gone up. Elon's probably would have. Yes, but they didn't. So I don't even know what the hell he's about because the thing he's complaining about didn't even happen, but it doesn't matter. He's willing to sell out his fellow immigrants sell out the LGBTQ community, sell out pretty much everybody in this country. If it means he gets to pay less than taxes. And that folks is the mark of a true Republican.
