In an interview this week with Charlie Kirk from Turning Points usa. Marjorie Taylor Green talked about the fact that she understands she's got a lot of her former friends and supporters mad at her right now over her undying support for Kevin McCarthy to be speaker of the House. And she let people know exactly where their anger should be directed. And apparently it's at Donald Trump. In her statement to Charlie Kirk that I'm gonna read in just a moment, green not only tried to pass it off on Trump, like throw him under the bus, like, hey, this is the guy who did it. But she then took a veiled shot at Trump by talking about all the keyboard warriors out there who can't do anything more than send out emails and posts on social media. And it's very clear that that line was directed at Trump. So here is what she said, word for word, straight from her mouth. I just also need to remind everyone while people are mad at me, president Trump endorsed and supported Kevin McCarthy, Jim Jordan, endorsed, supported, voted for, and nominated Kevin McCarthy. So people that are overly mad at me, I shouldn't be your punching bag. Be very clear-eyed about what this is, and I'll continue to prove exactly who I am through my actions and not my words and emails, social media posts, and interviews on television.

All right, so it's obvious, you know, you again, throwing Trump under the bus, like, Hey, you're mad at me for doing it. Look at this Trump guy. He did the same thing. Jim Jordan, that fella who they're the bad guys, but also don't judge me through my emails or through my social media posts or my interviews on television. You can judge me by my actions. Now, there's only one person that that could be directed at, and that of course would be Donald Trump, because technically she says, you know, judge her from her actions. Not all this other stuff that Trump does, but sure you could argue. But Farin, all those other Republicans do those same things do, uh, too, and that is true, that is very true. However, they're also doing actions for which you could judge them by the only other one who's not doing an action, which Marjorie Taylor Greens says, judge 'em by actions, not these things is Trump.

Trump's not doing anything because Trump has no power. So in my, in my mind, it's very clear that that second line, of course, is 100% directed at Donald Trump. The question I have is why, why invoke his name at all? Why throw him under the bus and then why go after him? Right? You got everything you needed. McCarthy won the speakership, the, the, the freaks in the ma uh, uh, freedom Caucus, almost called it MAGA Caucus, which is probably a more apt name for it. They got everything they wanted. All of you little weirdos that aren't part of the moderate coalition, if such a thing exists in the house, y'all got everything you wanted, Marjorie. So why are you still picking fights? Are you mad at Lauren Bobber? Is that what this really is? Is that who you're actually directing that second line at? I think it may be because whereas the headlines on this, of course, talk about her going after Trump, which she did.

I think she's referring to the Associated Press interview that Lauren Bobert gave recently, where she mentioned that Marjorie Taylor Green believes a lot of unhinged things.
