5:20Now PlayingArkansas governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, fresh off her $19,000 lectern scandal, needed a diversion for her constituents this week, so she decided to issue an executive order banning what she calls "woke words" from the state government. It is unclear if any of these words or phrases were actually used by the state, but again, this is only about distracting her voters from her scandals AND the horrible condition that the state is in. Farron Cousins explains what happened.

This week, Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, decided to try to distract her, uh, constituents from the scandal that she's embroiled in revolving around the $19,000 lectern that she bought. And she did this distraction by signing an executive order, banning what she calls woke words from the state government. So, you know, don't worry that I'm blowing tax dollars on a $19,000 lectern that I'm now saying I'm not even gonna use. Don't worry about that. What you need to be concerned about is the government using words like chest milk instead of breast milk. And no, I'm not making that up. Here's the words, rather than chest feeding. Use breastfeeding rather than human milk. Use breast milk rather than birthing person or laboring person. Use birth mom. And rather than menstruating person or people use woman or women, you know, because Sarah Huckabee Sanders in her own words says that not only are these, you know, woke terms, but they're also scientifically inaccurate, which is actually an inaccurate statement because technically these words are scientifically accurate. They're, they're almost more scientifically accurate, technically by definition. But she did go on Sean Hannity's program and defend her idiotic, you know, maneuver here, which again, is nothing more than a distraction for her voters. But here she is on Sean Hannity's program, justifying her stupidity. Take a look.
Yeah, the idea that we have this just absolute insanity. We are now living in a world where everything is crazy versus what's normal. And the left continues to push this woke agenda. Basically trying to erase the differences of women versus men ignoring all of science and biology, and completely ignoring the fact that women have a unique perspective. Only women can actually give birth no matter how many different ways they say it. That fact is completely based in science and reality, and we are no longer going to allow them to redefine terms that weaken and frankly demean women here in state government documents and here in the state of Arkansas.
Well, there you have it folks. Arkansas finally tackling the big issues, right? I mean, there's nothing, nothing more detrimental to the people of Arkansas than having their government use woke language at at i I I, I don't know. I don't know where they're using this woke language. 'cause I mean, again, we're talking about Arkansas, so I don't even know that these were things that were happening in the first place, right? As I said, this is a distraction, but it's not just a distraction from the $19,000 lectern scandal. It's a distraction from the fact that the state of Arkansas has the fifth highest poverty rate in the United States, over 15% of the population of the state of Arkansas living in poverty. And is Sarah Huckabee Sanders addressing that? Nope. She's banning woke words because that's really your problem. I'm sorry you can't put food on the table, but really I know what you're concerned about is the woke words, right? 47th in healthcare, state of Arkansas ranks 47th in healthcare, they rank 45th in the nation in education. So you live in Arkansas, you have a higher chance of living in poverty, higher chance of dying from preventable, uh, preventable diseases, and your kids are going to get a worse education. None of those three things are being addressed by this governor. She didn't talk about any of those. In that clip with Sean Hannity. All she talked about was the wokeness, the wokeness, the wokeness. And this is such an idiotic distraction.
But it works because we're dealing with people who don't understand that electing Republicans to lead your state decade after decade after decade is quite literally killing you. It's killing you, but y'all are gonna keep doing it because you're so fooled by these idiotic culture, war nonsensical BS issues that you don't even care, that you can't put food on your table. You don't care about the horrid economic conditions of your own state.
