Republicans, thanks of course to people like Marjorie Taylor Greene and Vivek Rams Swami are trying to kind of give new life to the old conspiracy theory that the January 6th Capitol riot was in fact an inside job. Actually, at the most recent Republican presidential primary debate, Vikk Ram Swami did mention specifically, he said, why am I the only one willing to talk about it being an inside job? Oh, because you're the only one crazy enough on that stage to actually say something so stupid. But Marjorie Taylor Greene had picked it up from there, and, you know, she said it absolutely was an inside job. And then after that, of course, Donald Trump came in and he decided to chime in with his 2 cents saying that there's missing evidence from the January 6th committee that somehow showed that Nancy Pelosi, uh, kind of started the Capitol Riot, which again hits back in a talking point Trump has used for several years now, where he's tried to pin the blame for the riot on Nancy Pelosi. So I'm telling you all that backstory to tell you this story, because this week, Nancy Pelosi, I think finally just got to the point where she's just off about this. So she fired back at Donald Trump building off Ramis Swami's talking point that it was an inside job. Here is what Nancy Pelosi had to say during an interview on M-S-N-B-C with Lauren O'Donnell this week. She said, it's an inside job on the part of Donald Trump and his henchmen in the Congress of the United States.

Simple enough, right? Just one easy sentence. It was an inside job because the guy sitting in the White House and the Republicans sitting in Congress allowed it to happen. And some of them kind of seemed like they liked it. So yeah, if you wanna call it an inside job, call it an inside job, just make sure you're pointing your fingers where the blame really lies. So I I, I think Pelosi's got a great point if you wanna say that the Capitol Riot was an inside job. If you use Pelosi's Logic, sure as hell. Seems like it was a bit of an inside job, doesn't it? When you had the leader of the federal government telling these people to go and fight, and then they go and fight, I don't know, kinda seems like an inside job to me. But that wasn't the only thing Pelosi chimed in on. She also decided to take a shot at New Republican House speaker Mike Johnson, who said that they are blurring the faces of

The people that participated in the Capitol riots a riot in the security footage that they're going to release. And she said about that, she said, quote, why would he blur their faces? Because he knows it's an indictment on them. And as I mentioned, when that story came out, um, because there are active investigations still trying to locate a lot of these people, um, federal investigations, by the way, that kinda seems like obstruction of justice, you know, you're, you're putting this out there. And, and, and listen, the FBI has the unedited an unedited footage, sorry, kind of tripping over my words today. But the thing is, the FBI has also called for the public to help basically charging the public with the responsibility of helping the FBI identify these people. So when the Republicans release blurred out footage, it hinders these people that have, you know, been quasi deputized, I guess, if you will, by the FBI.

They can't identify the people. So that is, of course, obstruction of justice in my book. Now, he's not gonna be charged with that. He could be. He should be, but he won't be. But I do like this new, you know, kind of fighting spirit that Pelosi has. I wish we could have seen more of that over the years, but this is what the Democrats need to be doing.
