YouTube Description
as posted by the channelOne of the biggest aspects of politics during an election year is public relations, and experts in that field say that the Republican Party is failing big time right now. Both of their major House investigations - the Hunter Biden investigation and the President Biden impeachment inquiry - are NOT resonating with the public, and their perception of both investigations as being politically motivated is getting worse for the GOP. Farron Cousins explains what this means for Republicans with an election less than a year away.

With a major election now just 11 months away, we are officially in an election year. This span from now through November is an election year. So at this point, every single thing that every single politician does is pr, whether they want it to be or not, it's all about public relations. As we head into that election, and according to PR experts here in the United States who recently spoke the Newsweek, Republicans are doing a very horrible job. In fact, they've described it as a quote, PR nightmare because Republicans are failing so badly and they're failing so badly in two arenas. The first one is the ongoing Hunter Biden investigation in the House of Representatives. And the second one, of course, is the recently launched formal impeachment inquiry into President Biden the public. These PR experts say have already lost interest, and they've already kind of come to the conclusion that, yeah, it doesn't seem like anything wrong or illegal on President Biden's half, uh, really, really took place.
This is a politically motivated investigation. Both of them are, and we're already kind of sick of it. In fact, according to a report from the Guardian, even conservative media outlets are getting sick of it and devoting less and less time to both of these issues, even as these issues allegedly heat up, right? So even right wing media's like, we can't keep talking about this bss, but here is what these PR experts had to say. This is a, uh, Richard Larmer who said, house Republicans will continue to fight and it will hurt them in the election with voters who are starting to tire of a do nothing majority in the house. Optics is the word because they're all bad for the GOP contingency when it comes to hunter. GOP plans for him are falling apart PR wise. Then you had another, uh, communications consultant by the name of James Haggerty, who actually praised Hunter Biden for his appearance before the press and the front of the US Capitol.
And he said he's going from dodging and weaving to a full throated challenge to congressional Republicans to fight things out in public. And then LaMer added, uh, Republicans wasted a lot of valuable media time discussing the contents rather than getting hunter in, uh, talking about the laptop. It did not seem to be a cohesive strategy. The laptop became a national joke. How could a punchline possibly help the GOP when they're trying so hard to embarrass the president? Our country's a mess. The world is watching our every move and house Republicans are executing on nothing but going after Biden and his son. So that's what we're looking at here with the Republicans. And it's funny that these people say this because they're experts in this, but this is what I had said earlier this week, that these Republicans have
Wasted a full year, the entirety of their majority in Congress investigating nonsense, but actually legislating nothing. They've brought us to the brink of a government shutdown three times in one year, and each time it was narrowly averted. It took them two weeks to find a speaker of the house back in January. Then they kicked him out. Then it took him three weeks to get a replacement. That replacement's proven to be a right wing, you know, evangelical nut job that's not helping them, but they're moving forward with these investigations and we're gonna get Hunter and we're gonna get President Biden. And the public's like, no, you're not. We're we're kind of done with this. Can, can you, I don't know, can you maybe lower my prescription drug prices? Oh, wait, you can't. But Biden is, Democrats have got to capitalize on this. And honestly, I don't think it's hard, but Democrats are always, and I've said this for years, terrible at messaging. Well, these PR experts are giving you gold right here. Take it and run with it. Biden's done some really good things. He's done some not good things, but let's focus on the good things and then focus on the Do nothing. Republicans present those two options to the people, and you may start to see those poll numbers flip in your favor.
