The Pentagon "accidentally" sent US military personnel to storm a beach in Mexico, which led to a very tense armed standoff between the US and Mexican authorities. The Pentagon alleges that the "contractors" that were sent accidentally landed on that beach, but that's a hard sell given the fact that the administration has repeatedly threatened to send ground forces into the country. Is this another Pete Hegseth screwup, or signs of something bigger to come? Farron Cousins discusses this.
