The Pentagon "accidentally" sent US military personnel to storm a beach in Mexico, which led to a very tense armed standoff between the US and Mexican authorities. The Pentagon alleges that the "contractors" that were sent accidentally landed on that beach, but that's a hard sell given the fact that the administration has repeatedly threatened to send ground forces into the country.
