the Kennedy Center, which of course is being run by Donald Trump's, you know, appointees who are proTrump. They love him. They're full MAGA. They submitted a filing in court this week making the most insane argument ever to the judge in order to keep Donald Trump his name on the Kennedy Center, which supposedly was already removed. Now, we can't exactly verify that because the tarps are still there, but here is what they said in the filing. The filing says that Trump raised $258 million from Congress for the Kennedy Center just because his name's on it. and hundreds of millions of dollars in donations will be lost and the financial harms will never be recovered if you don't put Trump's name back on there. So, the Kennedy Center, which has been hemorrhaging performers, mass cancellations, nobody showing up to the few events they've been able to pull off. These morons on the Kennedy Center board that Trump put there are telling a judge to their face, if we don't put Trump's name back, we're going to lose so much money. We have so much money in pledges, hundreds of millions, all because of Trump's name.

Now, so far, um, at least as of this, uh, recording here, the judge has not ruled on this, but I can't wait to hear the judge's response to this completely insane and asked backwards claim by these Trump lawyers. Because get this, those hundreds of millions of dollars, the 258 million that they're referring to in their court filing, those weren't donations. Do you know what that actually was? It was the budget for the Kennedy Center that was included in the one big beautiful bill. Like that's just their regular funding that has been congressionally appropriated. They literally can't lose that money. and they're lying to the judge, telling the judge, "Nope, that that was that was a donation. Uh, and they'll take it away." So now, instead of just making a bad comical argument,

they have now done something that could easily and definitely should, in my opinion, get them disbarred. You lied, knowingly lied in a legal filing to a judge. You submitted it in court telling the judge that we have hundreds of millions in donations that'll go away. Nope. You have hundreds of millions in congressional funding that cannot be taken away under the law of the United States. So, you lied to the judge, and I hope you enjoy the bar complaints that I'm hoping are coming at you pretty damn quick. Honestly, this judge needs to immediately sanction these lawyers. I wouldn't even rule on their actual filing. I would tear that up and throw it away, but then I would hit each and every one of these a-holes with the biggest sanctions they ever had and then refer them to the bar association for disciplinary action.
