According to a new analysis from Moody's economist, Mark Xandandy, he is actually their chief economist for Moody's Analytics, the Iran war has now cost the average American household $1,000
each. So go look down your street, folks. Look to your left, look to your right. Every single one of those households, the cost of this war has cost each house $1,000, including your house. Here is how that breaks down. The biggest driver, of course, high gas prices. Uh the typical US household has spent an extra $200 on groceries due to higher fuel costs, including the higher diesel costs. Uh the overall cost of additional gas prices for Americans has been 300. So 300 on gas, 200 on groceries, there's 500. So that's half of it. Higher interest rates have cost the average household $150 since the start of the Iran war. And the reason for that is because uh the Fed was planning on lowering interest rates right about the time Donald Trump decided to start the war. But then because he started a war, they were like, "Well, this would be a really dumb time to lower interest rates, so we have to keep them high." So 150 bucks since the start of the war because of the higher interest rate. So now we're at $650 out of a,000. Higher airfare has caused an estimated $100 on average in added cost. So now we're at 750. And the remaining $250 um is what we what comes out of our taxes each of us for the $1 billion a day price tag that our military is incurring with this excursion. But let's put that into a little bit more perspective, right? We've each paid in six months, not even six months, actually five months. In five months, we have paid each roughly $1,000. Some more, some less. A,000 is the average, right? So, $1,000 for that. Well, think back to last year. The tariffs. The tariffs cost the average family $700 per month. Per month.
So, this administration is bleeding us dry. Bleeding the country dry, right? I mean, we're racking up national debt like crazy. But, of course, Republicans in office, so Republicans don't talk about the national debt anymore. I'm sure everybody noticed that and pays attention and understands the hypocrisy there. But we're losing hundreds and hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of dollars a month because of Donald Trump's bad decisions, because of his stupidity, because of his arrogance, because of his narcissism, because of the fact that he is just a horrible piece of crap human being and a very stupid leader. hundreds of dollars a month out of your bank account is gone forever because of his idiotic decisions.
Anyone who still supports this guy in any way, you're in a cult, I don't care if you wear a MAGA hat or not at this point to look at how bad this man has been for you personally financially. If you look at that and you still say like, "Oh, I'm hemorrhaging money, but I love this guy." Congratulations. You're in a cult.
