The SBE team has completed care-package efforts in Los Angeles, Miami, Las Vegas and Chicago. The operation illustrates the devastating effect that coronavirus has had on the hospitality industry, even larger, luxury companies. According to the National Restaurant Association, up to 7 million restaurant workers across the country could lose their jobs by June.
This video interview was conducted right after the mandated closures went into effect across the country, and before the Congress unveiled the details of the CARES Act and the Paycheck Protection Program.
