In essence, it’s a new form of social construct, or contract. But it is not clean or without contradiction.From the very beginning adherents have introduced layers of centralization, such as exchanges, compromising ever so slightly some of its core principles. Some did it out of greed, while others saw it as a necessary way to onboard new users that were not tech savvy. There will always be a degree of centralization in crypto but by being as transparent and open as possible it can protect its core tenets and hold regulators at bay.
