Forbes speaks to contest winner Brittley C. at the 2024 New York International Auto Show. Brittley’s winning submission about defying stereotypes answered Sydney Sweeney's prompt, "share how you've been able to challenge expectations in your own passion."
Ford assembled two custom Mustang cars – one for Sweeney and one to be gifted to the lucky winner. Inspired by Sweeney's Brittany Blue 1965 Mustang, the vehicle features a Robin’s Egg Blue exterior with a crushed glass clear coat and sleek 20-inch chrome rims, Sidney Sweeney’s signature emblazoned on the car’s engine, the Ford x Sydney Sweeney heart bolt emblem on the exterior side, sill plate design, dashboard, and embossed on the leather seats, and color-changing LED stars across the headliner.
Sydney Sweeney grew up in a family of mechanics in Spokane, Washington, and learned to drive on her great-grandfather’s Ford F-100. During the pandemic, she documented her restoration of a 1969 Ford Bronco on her TikTok channel, @Syd’s_Garage.
