An American correspondent for Australia's 9 News was struck by a rubber bullet while reporting on the third day of protests in Los Angeles on Sunday, July 8.
During a live broadcast, footage shows journalist Lauren Tomasi crying out in pain and clutching her leg after an officer aimed and fired in her direction.
9 News later reported that Tomasi was "sore but otherwise unharmed."
