The incident occurred Saturday at Denver International Airport when Flight 3023, a Boeing 737 MAX 8 destined for Miami, experienced a "maintenance issue" with one of its tires. All 173 passengers and six crew members were safely evacuated, though six people were evaluated by first responders and one was transported to a hospital.
The Federal Aviation Administration will investigate the malfunction.
