1:13Now PlayingA Minnesota World War II veteran received an unforgettable surprise during Forest Lake's Fourth of July parade.
Bill Jeanes, a Forest Lake native who recently turned 100, was honored with a special flyover as family members watched from both the parade route and the aircraft. Jeanes served at Pearl Harbor during World War II before returning home to build a business, raise eight children and leave a lasting legacy in his community. His family says the donated flight became an emotional tribute to a lifetime of service, sacrifice and dedication.
