On Thursday, Dec. 21, 2023, Jones’ family appeared at the NAACP building with civil rights attorney Ben Crump. Truth, transparency, and justice were three requests made by Crump and the Jones family.
Crump also announced that there is video of the incident that led to Jones’ death.
