There is rising concern out there about some of the “unintended consequences” of Big Data and AI, with growing narratives related to: jobs; security; privacy; fake news; the lack of AI transparency; etc. Although the pessimists are in ascension, David is an optimist. This talk will discuss how these technologies can continue to be both a force for good and a positive factor in addressing enterprise challenges. That doesn’t mean sweeping concerns under the rug. Instead, let’s identify ways to confront these unintended effects of innovation head-on and do what we do best, i.e., turn them into opportunities for new and better innovations for the future.
