In the spring of 2017, all three women were found dead in Lumberton, North Carolina within a short period of time. According to WRAL, Rhonda Jones was found on April 18 in a city trash can on East 5th Street, Christina Bennet was found the same day inside an abandoned home on Peachtree Street, and Megan Oxendine was found on June 3 behind a house on 8th Street. WRAL also reported that autopsies had not revealed a cause of death, and authorities had not said whether the deaths were connected.【turn694371view0†L15-L25】
