Suzanne Morphew Update 2023 | Body Found and Identified as Missing Colorado Mom

Suzanne Morphew was last seen on May 10th, 2020 (Mother's Day). On May 6th, 2020, she had sent her husband, Barry, a text that read: "I'm done I could care less what you're up to and have been for years. We just need to figure this out civilly." On May 5th, 2021, Barry Morphew was arrested on charges of murder after deliberation, tampering with physical evidence, and attempting to influence a public servant. On April 19th, 2022, a judge dismissed the case against Barry Morphew. The 11th Judicial District Attorney filed the motion to "dismiss without prejudice" which means that charges could be filed against Barry Morphew at a later date.

Chaffee County Sheriff's Office

After 1236 days, on September 22nd, 2023, remains were located in Moffat, in the Sagauche County in Colorado and were positively identified as Suzanne's on September 27th, 2023. Authorities said that there would be no media updates or interviews related to the latest development in the case.
