The jury deliberated on the sentence he should get and reached a unanimous verdict within 3 hours. He was sentenced on the same day. In this video, I offer you a full trial and case summary. Case Background: In November 2022, 7-year-old Athena Strand was abducted from her father's home in Paradise, Texas. On December 2nd, 2022, her body was found 15 miles away in the water. Investigators tracked down a FedEx delivery driver who had dropped packages at the house around the time that Athena went missing. Tanner Horner, 31, the delivery driver was arrested and charged with aggravated kidnapping and capital m*rder. On April 7th, 2026, Tanner Horner pleaded guilty.
