1:09:50Now Playing42-year-old Alexis Lindsey Nelson was last seen in late March 2025. On May 15th, 2026, her husband Aaron James Nelson was arrested and charged with first-degree intentional homicide and hiding a corpse.
Key evidence includes a 32-gallon Rubbermaid Brute trash can purchased the day after she was last seen on video with Aaron — it later tested positive for Alexis’s blood/DNA. Cadaver dogs alerted to the trash can, their former apartment, and Aaron’s vehicle. Alexis’s phone stopped communicating on May 21st, 2025, and her body has still not been found.
Aaron reportedly told coworkers his wife died from “excessive alcohol abuse” and quickly moved in with a new girlfriend.
