On June 28th, 2026, boaters on Lake Mattoon discovered a severed human arm with distinctive tattoos. This horrific find led investigators to identify the victim as 38-year-old Dalewayne Turner of Plainfield, Illinois — and to his wife Robin Turner (62) and half-brother James Adams (26). Court documents allege James Adams stabbed Delawayne Turner during an argument, after which he and Robin Turner allegedly dismembered the body, stored parts in a basement freezer, and dumped the rest in the lake.
