An ICE agent shot and killed a 37-year-old suburban mom from Minneapolis three times in the head as she attempted to drive away. The victim's wife was in the passenger seat, covered in blood. This incident exposes the fundamental hypocrisy of the pro-gun, second amendment movement in America. For decades, gun rights advocates claimed they needed firearms to protect against tyrannical government overreach. That justification has been revealed as completely false.
The same people who tattooed "we the people" on their forearms and claimed they would fight government tyranny are now either silent or actively blaming the victims. When federal law enforcement shoots unarmed Americans in the streets, these self-proclaimed patriots do nothing. When military troops occupy American cities because the president disagrees with local politicians, they remain quiet. When the government violates court orders and flies undocumented immigrants to El Salvador's worst prison where they face abuse without charges, the anti-tyranny crowd accepts it.
The reality is clear: the second amendment rhetoric was never about fighting tyrannical government. It was about racism, bigotry, and misogyny.
These individuals only support gun rights when it benefits their worldview. When actual government overreach occurs and Americans are killed by federal agents, they blame the victims instead of defending constitutional principles. The tyrannical government they warned about has arrived, and they're cheering it on.
