Greene, who previously supported Trump through election denial, January 6th whitewashing, and claims that his 91 felony indictments were a witch hunt, now finds herself on the receiving end of death threats from Trump's base.
The irony is not lost on those who remember her repeatedly calling Nancy Pelosi a traitor. House Republicans face a crucial decision as they refuse to vote against releasing documents about Jeffrey Epstein's crimes and his co-conspirators. The political calculation is clear: no Republican wants their vote to protect the Epstein cover-up used in campaign ads. Meanwhile, MAGA voters express regret over economic impacts, with farmers losing their farms and families losing school programs after the Department of Education was eliminated.
These voters supported Trump not because of economic promises, but because he provided a vehicle for expressing racism, misogyny, bigotry, homophobia, and transphobia. Trump hates who they hate, and that hatred of marginalized communities, including teachers, LGBTQ individuals, and trans kids, drove their votes through three elections. The cruelty was always the point.
