In this video Heimler explains how to write a Long Essay Question (LEQ) according to a formula that will earn you maximum points. A LEQ has to be set up as an argument, and that argument begins in your Thesis. If you establish an argumentative thesis, then you will have a roadmap for your body paragraphs which will earn you maximum points.
The secret sauce of arguing in your body paragraphs comes down to three steps: topic sentence, evidence, analysis. If you do this consistently, you'll earn a high score on your LEQ.
Additionally, Heimler answers the often asked questions: how many paragraphs should I have in my LEQ? and, how do I write a conclusion paragraph for my LEQ?
